On the Approaches to the Vast Realm of Oles Ulyanenko’s Creative Works

Abstract

This review article analyzes the monographic work "Między apokalipsą a melancholią. Ołeś Ulianenko – twórczość, konteksty, wspomnienia", published by the publishing house of Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. It is a joint study of Ukrainian and Polish literary experts. The authors of the collective monograph are Anna Horniatko-Shumilovich, Mazhanna Kuchynska, Przemyslav Lis-Markevich, Yaroslav Polishchuk and Oksana Pukhonska. Scholars study the work of Oles Ulyanenko as a unique artistic and social phenomenon in the Ukrainian culture and writing, as well as, more broadly, in Slavic literature and writing in general.
