Journal's Aim and Scope:
"Studia Polsko-Ukraińskie" is a humanistic journal focused on multidisciplinary and comparative research in the field of Polish-Ukrainian literary relations (literary connections, literary studies), historical aspects (common history of Poland and Ukraine), and philosophical inquiries."
Our scope of interests is extensive, ranging from the examination of the roots of Christianity in Poland and Ukraine to contemporary times, encompassing shared cultural and historical heritage.
At the core of our interests are previously unpublished texts that align with the thematic profile of the journal. The editorial board accepts scientific articles (including review articles) that undergo a double-blind peer-review process. Other types of articles, such as reports, memoirs, or information on significant scientific events, undergo internal editorial review only.
"Studia Polsko-Ukraińskie" is an annual publication issued since 2014 by the Research Laboratory of the History of Polish-Ukrainian Literary Relations at the Department of Ukrainian Studies, University of Warsaw. The yearbook continues the esteemed traditions of the "Warszawskie Zeszyty Ukrainoznawcze" published from 1989 to 2008 by the Department of Ukrainian Studies, University of Warsaw, the Polish Society for Ukrainian Studies, and the Shevchenko Scientific Society."
The journal accepts articles in Polish, Ukrainian, and English.

Authors do not incur any costs associated with the publication of articles in the journal "Studia Polsko-Ukraińskie".

Task Description:
The aim of the project is to maintain the high substantive and technical quality of the journal Polish-Ukrainian Studies. The journal is a humanities publication focused on multidisciplinary and comparative research in the field of Polish-Ukrainian literary (from ancient times to the present), historical, and philosophical relations.
Its scope of interest is broad: from the study of the roots of Christianity in Poland and Ukraine to contemporary times, and the shared cultural and historical heritage. The journal particularly focuses on previously unpublished texts that align with its thematic profile. The editorial board accepts scholarly articles (including review articles), which undergo a double-blind peer review process.
Polish-Ukrainian Studies is an annual journal published since 2014 by the Research Unit on the History of Polish-Ukrainian Literary Relations at the Department of Ukrainian Studies, University of Warsaw. So far, eight issues have been published. The annual continues the best traditions of the Warsaw Notebooks of Ukrainian Studies, published between 1989 and 2008 by the Department of Ukrainian Studies at the University of Warsaw, the Polish Association for Ukrainian Studies, and the Shevchenko Scientific Society.
Each article is accompanied by metadata such as: the author’s full name, affiliation, ORCID number, title in the original language and its English translation, abstract and keywords in English, and a reference bibliography at the end of the article in transliteration.
The journal’s online version enables open access to the articles. At the same time, the journal commits to providing a free copy to the digital repository of the National Library no later than six months after the issue’s publication date and to granting the National Library a free non-exclusive license for public access to the journal’s scientific articles. These articles will be made available in such a way that anyone can access them at a time and place of their choosing, without any restrictions (including technical limitations or security measures), through the National Digital Library Polona and the Academica Digital Lending Library for Scientific Publications.
